I have the book of Ian and Roarke I want to put on wish list the other three for the other three brothers Ryan, Kerry and Mac are they available yet, if so I want them. The first two volumes Ian and Roarke were very interesting but I want the rest of the story. When there is a series it is frustrating not to have the whole group to complete the story, I feel left hanging. The books kept my interest and I hated to put it down until I had finished the books, Intrigue, humor, fantasy and magic.
I've read many books over the years and when my husband bought me a ; I discovered many new and very talented authors, ones I'd probably have never found or read if not for the . I love Nora Roberts,so naturally when I saw the title "Celtic Evil" I thought why not? It was one of the best reads I've experienced in a long time! Sierra Rose is a very creative and talented writer, I wish I could write so well! I could not put the book down; I love everyone of the Fitzgerald brothers! The story from the beginning grabs you and takes you a wonderful journey of love, trust,sacrifice and evil! Can not wait for the rest of books to follow! I have to say that I think that "Kerry may well be my favorite! I hope you are writing Sierra Rose, because I'm ready to read! If you want a book that has it all; please read this series, you will not be disappointed!

I just read Celtic Evil, and found it to be a skillfully woven dark fantasy. The ease with which the author manages to keep so many main characters in character is astonishing. The characters are richly detailed. They interact in a believable manner. The complex relationship of the brothers reveals everything from tension to love, and there is no denying the underlying family loyalty.

The premise of Celtic Evil can be said to be good verses evil, but there is more. I don't want to get into spoilers, but I will say that I found the author's knowledge of her subject matter extensive. I've seen fantasy books where the authors didn't understand their subject matter well enough to help the readers understand the concepts that they were trying to convey. Mrs. Rose conveys the complexities of the fantasy aspects of her tale with ease and clarity.

Sierra Rose makes you believe in magic. She opens the imagination of the reader and fills it with magic. In the final analysis, that's what an author is supposed to do. The good ones can cause us to suspend our disbelief and make us believe their tales with the same wide-eyed wonder with which we enjoyed tales when we were children.

I liked the story and I've always been hooked on novels about magic and wizards, so I rated this a 3. But I did find myself getting confused and had to go back a page or two just to check whether I missed reading or understanding something. Not to mention getting irritated with the repeated "my friend... her friend... his friend..."

I'm still looking forward to the next book though because I want to find out what challenges the other brothers would face. Here's hoping it'll be much better...
It's a fascinating concept, even if the storyline is a bit jumpy. How come the characters could just take off - they all had jobs, and bosses who would presumably wonder where they were without explanation. How came that the journalist could come with them,without her editor getting angry,for example.
There has to be some connection to their "normal" lives, if it is to be believed.
I was excited to read this book, it sounded like such a good story line. . And I like the fact that it continued with 4 other books about the other brothers. But once I started reading it, it was to crowded. There are way too many characters, its too fractured. I kept thinking, I thought this book was about Roarke? Then finally it started to be about him, but it just rambled on and on about him and his "friend" Jessica. And the "friend" part really irratated me, we get that they were friends before they were lovers, why keep saying "my friend, his friend, her friend?" It just got to be really irritating and boring to me, I skimmed the last third of the book, just couldnt take it anymore. If you want to read a series about magic, read Nora Roberts trilogies. Maybe she has spoiled me, this book just was not written very well. I wont be reading the other four.
